I am very fond of “La Vie en Rose.” It was my first solo performance just before my 2004 move to Berlin. Berlin stages were very welcoming to my stupidity, and thanks to that impulse, I’m still clowning around today.
When I created it, I defined it as follows: “One day my roommate turned to their land. She forgot a 20cm high-heeled pair of shoes. This neglect could have been another fret in the closet, but turned into a priceless gift: 20 cm of motivation!
La Vie en Rose is a tribute to women who understood that we don’t need to suffer for beauty. And also for those who didn’t.
A show full of humor, tenderness, and a bit of malice.”
I’m not sure what I would say about this show nowadays.
Duration: 30 min.
